Well, I joined an improv class on Monday nights! It’s good to get those veins flowing again and begin to reconnect with my spontaneity. In addition, I took class on Tuesday, studying the Viola Spolin Technique with Robin Brown. We had an interesting scene, but I learned a valuable lesson, how to harness my power and energy and use it effectively.
Phil Raymond, editor and co-creator of ‘Renegade Reporting’ is visiting from NY. We are shooting 2 more episodes this week on the West Coast and created our youtube channel: youtube.com/renegadereporting and contact, renegadereporting@gmail.com .
We have some big things coming up in the future, so look out. Any companies or products interested, better get on board now.
Today, I auditioned for a new pilot, ala Ghost Hunters, as the host. I am waiting to hear back, but thinking of just focusing on my own show. I have also been developing several pitches to put my hosting skills to the test with a new concept. More to come, my bread and butter will have a sizzle tape by the end of October.
Sandra Angeline, my dear friend from NYC and fab-o editor, is helping me log and capture my cross country footage for “Fueling Our Dreams” and I hope to be paper editing by next week. I will also be creating 2 travel show pitch sizzle tapes from the footage that will get sold. Trust!
My website is thriving and I will be updating with my test shoot photos and creating a comp card for print auditions. Gotta get your hustle on. No time to waste.
Lastly, I am in the final stage of joining ‘The Moving Arts’ theater company, and will be the lead in a reading on Oct 1st. It’s a Marine story from Iraq, really well written, come and check it. I also have an audition for an artistic gallery piece, which is demonstrating the black hole of the entertainment industry, there is some rage and anger in this piece, how fun!
My headshots came back from Chris Moscatiello and rock the casbah. I will be making moves shortly to get these in the right hands. Well, speaking of hands, my fingers are tired from typing. I’m out.
