Back from Dubai and Back to Hustling

Last Friday, Renegade Reporting was at the Newport Beach Sutra Lounge Red Carpet for English Laundry’s sponsored Fashion Show, as well as LTL Entertaiment’s Triflon performance. I hosted the event with Eworld Media and LateNiteDigital.tv and LTL Entertainment’s Shawnae Belvedere. I also met with Premier Talent Group and signed on theatrically for one year. We have many collaborations awaiting us this year, I am very excited to be on board. In addition, I met with Masiela Lusha to discuss her upcoming films with Illuminary Pictures. More details to follow, we will be keeping in touch.
Last Monday, I worked on ER with my close friend, Greg, who works in the script department, it was good to see The Blank Theater Company’s Artistic Director, Noah Wyle, in action.
In addition, I wrote a short film for the a Sundance competition, www.youtube.com/projectdirect, in which I will direct, act, produce, and of course write. It’s a great little thriller and should fare very well. I have some new friends on board, Luis Tovar , was my DP, Darren Hafford from Ted Tate Films, was my AD and editor, and my other wonderfully talented actors were Amy Highfill, Chris Kerner and Jenni Smith. It is a story about a mailman with primal male instincts. I will be posting by weeks end.
My treatment, ‘ReFurb-N-Art’ has been submitted and is entering the rounds for approval, it should prove to be a life changing and inspiring show. Another treatment for ‘The Real Don Juan’ is coming along great, with co-writer, Gary Teitelman and should be done shortly. The play I am writing with Matt Dunn, tentatively titled, ‘Big Red Dog’ is rocking and rolling and we are looking to produce in March. Every role is a challenge and emotionally loaded, we will soon be looking for the supporting players.
As you can, the Cast Iron is hot right now. There are a lot of leads, ibabycouture.com may have me on board to host their show, Baby Couture TV in the near future too. I have also scheduled a photo shoot with the ever so talented, Anne Marie Fox for the beginning of January.
