IACTOR is UP

My SAG Iactor page is finally up. Here it is http://www.sag.org/iactor/StephenSeidel

You can use that for casting, or my actors access link off my website for online resume.

Cadillac Records has been killing me. I shoot 15 hour days all week, and have met Adrien Brody, Columbus Short, all the crew and several others. More details to come later. I have to get up early for the gym and to work again.

Also, I finished shooting my first documentary from Commemoration of Life on Sunday and also shot New York Top Ten, hosting highlights for myself on Saturday. Now all they need is editing.

I also linked up my director from ‘Rise of the Dead’ with Michael Lange, the creator of ‘Intervention’ and founder of Double Think Productions in San Antonio. Also, my first reading for A Body Without a Head was on Sunday, it’s going to be a killer project. I urge you all to not miss out on this artistic explosion. Nitey nite.

I In the Sky – I'm on Billboard in Times Square, funny.

The Durst Organization and Chashama are presenting, Raul Vincent Enriquez’s ‘I In the Sky’. Its an exhibit where you have your picture taken and then its broadcast over Times Square. You can go to Chashama at 112 West 44th Street for your photo and it appears at 4 Times Square b/t 42nd and 43rd Street on Broadway.

Please view my video at www.durst.org/iinthesky/movs/030608/1204825147.mov It should upload as a Quicktime and may take a few seconds. I hope you enjoy. I didn’t know it was a video, so I did a quirky smile and kind of looks spooky, whatever.

In addition, here’s a youtube vid from my page. It’s my stint as Mr. Slurpee.

C.O.L. and A.B.W.A.H

So I ran into George, my director of my play, A Body Without a Head, ABWAH, on Thursday. We did some heavy character building and dove into my pieces. It was quite fun to explore my past and look for new ways to inspire my creative side. So, we discussed my wardrobe, hair, and everything else. I have some ideas I am going to implement during the show, that only I know about. Fun stuff. Buy your tickets now for April shows: http://www.theatermania.com/content/show.cfm/section/castcrew/show/141747

I also got a call on Thursday to work on One Life to Live from Sheryl Baker Fisher, unfortunately I am not available on the day she needed me. It always happens like that, but if I commit to something, I am committed to them, so that is that. Hopefully, she’ll follow up in the future, as I know I will.

In addition, today Adrian Lopez and I, the collaborators on Commemoration of Life, C.O.L, shot some stuff to see how it would turn out. It looks awesome, our documentary piece is gonna rock. It is featuring an AIDS patient and we are going to help raise awareness and bring light to things on a smaller scale, to open NYC’s eyes to things that they might not normally be in tune with. I am stoked and looking to storyboard tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I am potentially meeting with another friend to work on my concept of Top Ten NYC. It’s another show I created to open doors for my hosting, as C.O.L is more dramatic. Phil Raymond is an editor and director who I am collaborating with, via the ever so knowledgable Nicole Tucker. I just hope it doesn’t rain again.

I bought the 3rd season of ‘6 Feet Under’ on the street today for 10 bucks, and will be watching that soon. I love that show, the acting is phenomenal and I just zone out. I’m afraid to start, b/c I think I’ll never stop. Speaking of not stopping, I did a triple header at the movie theater yesterday: Be Kind Rewind, Bank Job and a bit of Juno. All very good in their own sense. Be Kind Rewind was cool from an indie filmmaker’s standpoint, very inspiring. Off to read and then bed. Cya.

Cadillac Records w/Adrien Brody

Yesterday I got a call from Winsome Sinclair casting to be Adrien Brody’s standin for a day on ‘Cadillac Records’. I figured it be fun to go on set and see what’s going on. Having always been a big fan of his work, it’d be a great way to see how he works and what his process is, at the same time, catch up on reading Robert McKee’s ‘STORY’.

My director of ‘2 Star State of Mind’ also works at Sony BMG Distribution and some of his film division is actually producing the film. Robert Taylor, Ron’s boss and also my boss in the ‘2 Star State of Mind’ is the HR Rep for Sony BMG. Thus, I will try this fork in the road out and see where it takes me. I am excited to see a little more about this film, I know it takes place in the record industry, which I love, since I’m a music guru.

On a side note, all things are complete for Shooting Schedule of ‘Commemoration of Life’. This project is basically complete and will be done shortly. Please keep an open eye out for www.youtube.com/commemorationoflife.

I am looking to speak to an AIDS vaccine facility to see if they’d like to purchase or invest in the final product. We will see what happens. Time to go to 44th and Broadway in Times Square, there is an artist broadcasting a 2,500 feet digital screen that will display headshots over the city. I am going to go and have my picture taken, Should be interesting. Later.

Dan Ho's Moving Out

So, I helped a few friends on a show called Dan Ho’s “Moving Out” for the Discovery channel. It will be airing again. Take a look if you are around. is
re-airing on FitTV on March 5th at 8:30pm and 11:30pm and also on
March 6th at 2:30pm.  So set your DVR’s!  Its entertaining at most. I am the one of the friends featured in the spot.

On a side note, the casting for my online show is almost complete and the shoot date is set for March 16. I have written the script and am now going over it. Currently, I am reading Robert McKee’s ‘Story’ and Robert Rodriguez’s ‘Rebel without a Crew’. This is preparing me to write my full length screenplay and to make my online shows.

In addition, I spoke to a friend, Nicole Tucker who is an amazing publicist and she hooked me up with an editor friend who also DP’s, Phil. Check out www.newhoodcity.com for some of his things. We are linking up for a new show featuring the Top Tens of NYC.
