Cadillac Records, Bit Part
So its been crazy with Sony BMG at Cadillac Records. Been doing some standin work for Adrien Brody, very cool cat and super cool to chill out with.
Anyways, got a bit part as Officer Brown in a scene with the young Rolling Stones. I had a little scene, but I’ll take it. See picture up top. The ‘Stones’ named themselves after a song Muddy Waters wrote. Also there was the real life superstar blues guitarist, Hubert Simlin, he is a man of miracles. What a great guy and full of stories, from Eric Clapton to Jimi Hendrix, to the Beatles themselves.
So its been great, I’ve met people from all realms of the spectrum and been learning and meeting some important people in my path to artistic success.
Speaking of success, my first draft of my first documentary, Commemoration of Life, has been completed and looks great. I am super proud of it. I will be releasing it on youtube later this week or next week. In addition, my hosting clips will be on my youtube tomorrow: www.youtube.com/stephenseidel
I also did a hosting bit of the Top Ten New York, where I scoured Union Square for the most interesting people and the craziest stories, I will be editing it this weekend. It’s been such a crazy time, the rehearsals started for my upcoming play, ” A Body Without a Head” starting April 28th. See my website: http://www.stephenseidel.net/pages/abwah.html
Lastly, I am sorry to make it so quick, but I have been in contact with Judah Friedlander and am trying to get him to sign on for one of my sketch comedy short films, more to come on that. Oh yeah, I went to see Ass Cats tonight at UCB, hosted by Amy Poeller with Seth Meyers and a bunch of other 30 Rock cast members, and I gave the first suggestion, ’shoelace’. Nightline was filming there, so you might hear that on their story. Later yall.
