I just returned from Dubai, where I shot my latest episode, soon to be edited. We saw some great things, and I am in talks with several other friends to bring on more reporters, on more issues. The California Cickoff episode will be completed shortly.

Sandisk Competition, 'Burning Palms', DU Article, DUBAI

So, its been a little bit. Lots has been happening over here, so they’ll be a quick and to the point update.

I completed a submission for the Youtube Sandisk competition. It went pretty well, we organized and shot it at my place, this will kick off many more short comedy films. Go online and vote, the requirements were moves, and we packed it w/moves.

In addition, Monday of last week, I met up with a friend of mine, Steve Prince and worked on his new film, ‘Burning Palms’. I met some cool cats and re-kindled friendship with some old fellow Austinites. Matty, a close friend, asked me to help write and star in his play which has already been reviewed by many and achieved tons of praise. We are working on the re-write now and plan to launch in March. It is tentatively titled, “Big Red Dog” and should floor you.

Last Friday, I attended the screening of Ford Entertainment’s ‘Ballad of Broken Angels’. The film’s screener rocked and my close friend Dave is producing. I finally met the uber talented writer, Gary Lumpp, in from Chi-town and am trying to help them get this thing offf the ground. It will have very very soon, they have tons of quality actors on board. More to come. Here’s the industry update if you’re interested. www.gmlumpp.blogspot.com

Two weeks ago, I performed for a few agents and got a call from James Jones, from Premier Talent Group. I have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow, for a meet and greet. He is so chill and I would love to work with him. My last meeting with Orion Talent also went great, he has a client in my type, but I was a referral, so we are staying in touch. Also, I got a call from Jerry Pace Agency and went and met with him this past weekend. He was from Pittsburgh and also seemed to very gracious and giving. More to come on my recent agency meetings after my trip.

Donkaphant is now edited, as well as Renegade Reporting, ‘Live from the Red Carpet’. I am working on getting it uploaded to youtube and sent to both younitedfoundation.org and to some future company I may be producing for.

Delta Upsilon highlighted me in their recent article, ‘DU QUARTERLY, SPRING/SUMMER 2008′. I got a shout out for my last play with George Carr, that I completed at the Manhattan Theater Source in NYC. Check it out on page 24. http://www.deltau.org/Uploads/DUQuarterly_sprsum2008.pdf

My family just visited for a few days. We had a blast, Chinese Theater, Santa Monica, Bev Hills, all the traditional stops, but the most fun one was ‘THE ELLEN SHOW’. My sister is a diehard fan and we got tickets to go, she worked the scene and ended up making the grade for a ‘gamer’. She got called up and won the competition game held by Ellen and won a trip to Vegas!!!

VIEW THE SHOW, This TUESDAY, NOV. 18th. I will be dancing my A-double S off next to her. And we won a second round of tickets, so they’ll be back in 3 weeks. Wow!

Lastly, I will be going to Dubai!!! I am leaving on Nov 14th til Nov 24th to work a production over there. I will be collaborating with Colin Cowie and his lifestyle planning. Recently, I have been developing and pitching shows and will be assisting Colin with his events over there. In addition, I have finalized my most recent pitch, “ReFurb-N-Art, the Urban Conversion, WGA 1311872″ and am looking to get him onboard as a host. I will let you know how it all pans out. Pictures to come. Thanks.

Here’s a recent picture from Baby Couture, where I have been in talks to take over Baby Couture TV and assist them in their online efforts. Talk to you soon…

Oh yeah, I’ll be doing a reading tomorrow night at the ‘Attic Theater’ at 7pm, stop by. Later.

Rocking and Rolling

Today, I was on set with Steven Prince, my old acting coach in Austin, and current producer of ‘Burning Palms’, written and directed by Christopher Landon. It stars Dylan McDermott, Lake Bell, Shannon Doherty and many more. We helped out on set today, and my buddy Matt Dunn was also there. The final day of shooting in LA, was today down at Santa Monica Pier. We met some great people and the crew was super fast, they were ahead of schedule and the catering rocked.

In addition, last Thursday I auditioned for a few managers, Phil Brock from Studio Talent, James Jones from Premier Talent, and Selena Schoups from James Levy Talent. The Premier Talent Group called me to meet with them next week, and it’s also Matt’s agent. Small World. I performed a scene from Theresa Rebeck’s ‘The Scene’. Fun stuff. The following day, I followed up with my agent at LA Talent to determine which pictures to upload for increased submission ratings.

Saturday, I began editing the Red Carpet at Donkaphant Film Festival, it should be done this week. I also met with an old Austinite, Brandon, who helped me out with a few suggestions from when he first moved to LA. He’s now a very successful producer.

I found out my latest films, ‘Intervention’ and ‘Two Star State of Mind’ are finally up on IMDB, it only took a year. Oh well, better late then never. This Wednesday, I am shooting the short film for Art Gallery openings, where I voice the frustration of a cornered crew member. Guerilla style, downtown LA. Fun times.

I found a few projects I worked on: https://afifest.withoutabox.com/films/void

Bohemibot, a Panavision sponsored NYU Film, a Picture of me in my armor is halfway down: http://homepages.nyu.edu/~bb612/bohemibot.html

Tomorrow is Election Day. Get out and VOTE. Who cares who its for, but voice your opinion!!

My sister and mom are visiting LA this Saturday, I can’t wait!
