Twitter 140 Conference, Budlight Lime Ad Review

Recently, I spoke with a close friend, Kim Sherrell (@Kim) and she invited me to attend, 140 Character Conference, which will be a meeting of web gurus from around the world in LA at the Kodak Theater. It was founded by @jeffpulver and can also be found on Twitter with #140conf .

In addition, Budlight Lime’s ‘Getting it in the Can‘ video, in which I played the bartender, has been exploding all over the internet. Recently, a website, Salon documented the success of Bud’s most recent marketing blitz.

“The Bud Light Lime ad, the brainchild of DDB, goes on to depict a variety of male and female pitchers and receivers, including a bartender who’s “been giving it to everyone in the can all week” and a blowsy young blonde who’s “lost track how many times I’ve had it in the can.”

A Body Without a Head Premiere (ABWAH)

George R Carr’s “A Body Without A Head”, which I played the lead in has been adapted into an experimental short film. The film/play is for anybody, anywhere, that has ever lost their head to love…

In addition, I was also an Associate Producer on the project. It will be premiering on October 5th, at the New Filmmakers Fall Fest, Anthology Film Archives, 32 Second Ave, NYC, 10003.

My character’s name is Pollo, who is loosely based on the Greek God, Apollo. My lover in the play is Dite, who is also patterned after Goddess, Aphrodite. She does some crazy things, but in the end, we all lose our head to love, henceforth, ‘A Body Without a Head’. Come and support and watch for the Renegade Reporting ‘A Body Without a Head’ after the premiere, I will be shooting man on the street, head in the skies videos….In the words of Pollo, “I am in awe, I am in grace, I am in eternity.”

Just finished a reading with Kathleen Turner at Electric Lodge of Madeline Minx. In addition, met with casting at Jimmy Kimmel Show to work in the future. Writing two webisodes, ‘Recession Proof Comedy’ with Geoffrey Altrocchi and ‘Phil N Del’ with Ramone Ellis to be premiering late in October.

Recently, I shot a short comedy sketch about catering. Take a look.

In addition, I have been brought on board and signed the contract to be an Associate Producer on ‘Ballad of Broken Angels.” Brent Huff is scheduled to direct with Roddy Piper and Masiela Lusha currently attached.

Lastly, I met Corbin Bronson, Jeffrey Gafner from CBS and have been fine tuning my cold reading skills for my next big audition.

Auditioned for “Road to the Altar” webisode as camera man, with Annie Lukowski, it went fabulous. Got a call from Carol Barlow Casting for a new show on Discovery, they liked my previous audition for ‘HOW TO’ on History Channel. In addition, did a testimonial for ‘Miracle Gro’ yesterday and flaunted my cooking skills.
